Today is Pentecost Sunday and Pastor Jinkyoung’s message is titled: “From Babel to Pentecost: The Spirit that Unites.” The scripture was Acts 2:1-21. We sang “Spirit Song,” “As a Fire Is Meant for Burning,” and “Jesus We Are Here.” The last was sung in 5 languages with Kendall singing the German version for us, and we attempted the Korean, Spanish and an African dialect version.

Yesterday Pastor Jinkyoung spoke about “Passing the Baton: From Christ to Church” for Ascension Sunday. The scripture was Acts 1: 6-14. We sang “All Hail the Power of Jesus Name,” “Thine Be the Glory,” and “The Church’s One Foundation.” The Spirit of the Moment Choir sang “Shall We Gather at the River.”
