He is Risen Indeed!!
Yesterday we celebrated Easter with our 6:30 Sunrise Service. We were fortunate that the sun came streaming through the stained glass window during the service. Pastor Jinkyoung’s message was titled: “Meeting the Risen Christ on the Road” with Luke 24: 13-35 for the scripture. We sang “Christ the Lord Is Risen Today” and “He Lives. The Spirit of the Moment Choir sang “Up From the Grave,” Dennis sang a rendition of “The First Time I Ever Saw His Face,” and Jim, Ginny, Andy, Shahla, and Mason Brown sang “On the Wings of a Dove.” We celebrated Holy Communion. We enjoyed a wonderful Easter Breakfast following the service. Thanks to Ila, Cleo, Roxie, Daryl and Perry for preparing and serving our meal.
